An amazing milestone to reach when you’re applying the finishing touches on your first solo debut album!   In just 12 months, the enigmatic artist who has a nose for a killer melody has written and produced some of the most infectious tunes to reverberate the airwaves in recent years, and with the Gold Certification of these tracks it looks like this is only the beginning.

The singer-songwriter has kicked off the year with three hit singles under his belt and the promise of an impending debut album packed with pop-rock gems!   ‘Always Be Here’ and ‘Don’t Know What To Do’ have both enjoyed huge success both on the singles chart and at radio since their release last year, and now both have been certified Gold on the NZ Singles Chart.

‘Cruel’ is the third single to reach Gold from Dane’s hotly anticipated solo album, and is currently sitting at #4 on both the NZ Top 40 singles chart and the Radio Airplay Chart.

After a gruelling touring schedule over summer which included performances at Matakana’s High Life NYE party and Gisborne’s Rhythm & Vines Festival, Dane has returned to the studio to put the finishing touches on his debut album – available March 22, 2010.
